“To whom much is given, much will be required.”  Luke 12:48

As President of Associated Construction Services (ACS) Group, Anna Sauceda has always known owning a successful small business comes with an enormous amount of responsibility to others. She and her husband Darrel have propelled their small residential construction company into a multimillion dollar government and commercial construction company.

Through a Small Business Weatherization Contract awarded by the Gas Company in 2011, ACS Group has had the opportunity to employ and train an additional 40 individuals from the community. These individuals are then deployed to educate thousands of families every year on Energy Sustainability. Together, Anna and Darrel inspire their team of dedicated and talented individuals who demonstrate the virtues of Commitment, Integrity and Loyalty in all the work they perform.

Anna lives by these virtues in her personal life, in her business and her community engagement. Throughout her career in the non‑profit or corporate sector, she has always had a deep-rooted passion for helping others and plays an active role in creating positive transformation in the communities where she lives and works. During her leadership at the Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA, Anna was instrumental in opening ten childcare centers for latchkey kids as a pilot program with the City of Los Angeles through SB303. This success lead to further opportunities in the non-profit sector.

As a Board member of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) and when Chair of the CHCC Foundation, Anna significantly increased Latina participation and the created the Latina Initiative. Her commitment to the empowerment and advancement of women goes beyond her participation with the CHCC. Anna continues mentors other Latina business owners by helping them build flourishing businesses based on a solid foundation of hard work, good practices and a network of resources.

Anna is sought after for her leadership, her resourcefulness, her ability to forge partnerships and build collaboratives. She serves on several Boards, Commissions and Committees throughout California, including:

  • American Red Cross, San Gabriel Chapter, Board of Director

  • California Earthquake Authority, Governor Appointed Advisory Panel

  • Camp Ronald McDonald House for Good Times, Board of Trustee

  • HOPE PAC, President of the Board

  • Latinas Lead California, Advisory Board

  • PALS, Board of Director

  • Whittier Uptown Association, Board of Director

  • The Whole Child, Board of Director

Anna stays true to whom she is, A Spirit Filled Woman of God. Together with her husband Darrel, they are grateful for the many Blessings in their lives and the continued opportunity to do their best in life and in business, allowing God’s Grace to shine through their good works.
